You are welcome. Will be posting shortly about the allergy season, but mostly things are uneventful. That’s a good thing!

I’m sorry, I cannot provide any recommendations on medication. You need to speak with your doctor. I cannot recall my regimen, however I followed my Dr’s advice to the letter.

Although the messages I have read are from last year. But worth a try. My partner had a transplant yesterday and came home today. Have been doing the drops every two hours. Which he has had since the surgery. But I need to know if I have to continue it through the night or not. Have called the hospital, who were not completely convincing. But they did say yes to continue through the night until Tuesday. Seems a long time. Do you remember what you had to do when you first had it done. If so please share
Thank you

Comment on Trying Different RGPs – My lens tolerance is only a few hours. by Derrick Ashby https://corneanews.com/2012/05/24/trying-different-rgps-my-lens-tolerance-is-only-a-few-hours/#comment-200 Sun, 20 Apr 2014 10:30:13 +0000 /2012/05/24/trying-different-rgps-my-lens-tolerance-is-only-a-few-hours/index.html#comment-200 Hi Scott, I’ve had 2 transplants – 1 in 1978 or 9 (left eye) and 1 20 years later (right eye). First 1 had general anaesthetic and was in hospital for 10 (TEN) days. The surgeon didn’t like the quality of the first transplant material, so I went through premed twice. off work for several weeks. 2nd one, was day surgery, anaesthetic was local. Off work for about a week. I particularly remember the surgeon’s mobile phone ringing while I was under the knife, and the sight of the scalpel descending on my eye. Didn’t feel a thing.
